Our Story
How It All Began
Welcome to our little park. We’re Steven and Lisa — and this is the story of how a simple cup of tea changed our lives.
For the past 30 years, Steve worked as a tiler and Lisa as a cake decorator. We loved what we did, but in 2024 we felt it was time for a new chapter — a change of scene and a new adventure together.
We put our property in North Queensland up for sale and started casually looking at houses. But somewhere between scrolling through listings and chatting over a cuppa, the conversation shifted.
“What about a caravan park?”
And just like that, the idea was born.
The Search for Something Special
What followed was six months of searching for the perfect park — one that suited not just our needs, but our personalities and dreams for the future.
We looked at many places, but nothing quite felt right… until we stumbled across a caravan park in the little country town of Inglewood.
It had been operating for 40 years and, while it was a little tired and in need of some love and care, we could see something special. Where others may have seen hard work, we saw opportunity. Where some saw worn edges, we saw character.
We saw a blank canvas.
A New Chapter Begins
Steve, being the hands-on and always-busy person he is, immediately started imagining projects and improvements. Lisa, with her love of all things pretty and welcoming, began picturing gardens, décor, and those little touches that make a place feel like home.
Our minds went a million miles an hour — and truthfully, they still do!
We have so many ideas, and we’re slowly bringing them to life throughout the park. From practical upgrades to thoughtful details, everything we do is about creating a warm, friendly, and relaxing space for our guests.
Growing with Every Visit
This park has been part of the Inglewood community for four decades, and we’re incredibly proud to now be part of its story.
Our goal is simple:
To create a place where travellers feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to return.

And for a true country experience, start your morning with farm-fresh eggs from The Mother Cluckin’ Hen House — the perfect addition to your bacon and a delicious taste of farm life.
